Our Team |
| Meet Our Team Our exceptional team consists of highly trained caregivers, each of whom is uniquely gifted with a heart for children. Each member has completed an extensive background check as required by the state of California, and are certified in pediatric cpr and in infant and toddler life saving techniques. Additionally, all of our teachers have completed the 12 units of course study in early childhood education as required for a preschool teacher, and constantly attends workshops, training session and seminars.  Ms Nicole, Owner/Preschool TeacherNicole Trimble, owner, operator, and primary care giver at A Good Start Family Childcare. Ms Nicole holds college credits that qualify her both as a preschool teacher and as director. Nicole has been a licensed childcare provider for more than 12 years and currently serves as a director and coordinator of the children’s ministry at her church. “Working with children is my passion. It is what I was born to do,” says Nicole, who is also a loving mother of four amazing children.  Miss Sharyn, Infant/Toddler TeacherMs Sharyn has been a member of the Good Start Family for the last 3 years. She is a dynamic educator who uses music, arts, crafts, and games to prepare our infants for preschool. Sharyn is currently a student at West Los Angeles College majoring in Early Childhood Development, where she has already earned 12 units in her major. With Sharyn’s creative approach to teaching, and dedication to children, she is an asset to our program.  Miss Maryam, Teacher’s Assistant/After School CoordinatorMs Maryam started with us as a teenager, and has been a faithful team member ever since. Maryam also serves as a teacher monitor in the children’s ministry at her church, and has provided in home care for many families. Maryam’s love for children is apparent in the loving kindness that she shows the children that we serve. Her dedication to meeting the needs of our children and their families is unsurpassed. |
