| What are your hours of care? A Good Start Family Child Care is open to provides care 24 hours a day 7 days a week What are your prices? A Good Start’s affordable rates are based on many different factors, and are designed to meet the individual needs and schedules of the families that we serve. We offer full time, part time, day, evening, and weekend rate options. We also offer a “Stay and Play” option. We welcome all state funded, and alternative pay programs. Please contact us to inquire which schedule and price range is right for you. What is the age of the children that you provide care for? We provide care for children from ages 1 week to 13 years. Do you provide food for the children? Each childcare day your child will be served two meals and a nutritious snack consisting of items from each of the four basic food groups. Monthly menus will be posted on the parent information board and on our website. Menus are subject to change based on availability, special birthday celebrations, or seasonal class cooking projects. We believe that children can eat healthy if they learn by example. We serve meals family style and model good eating habits daily. What days are you closed? Holidays? We are closed on most major holidays. We provide a monthly newsletter with updates of closures as well as pertinent information in child care. What is required to start child care? Once you’ve selected A Good Start for your childcare needs, you be given an enrollment packet , which will need to be filled out and returned along with your registration fee and first weeks tuition on or before the first day of care. When are payments due? Payments are due on Monday of each week unless other arrangements are agreed upon at the time of enrollment. |
